Chief Executive Officer – Wieteke Dupain
Wieteke is Executive Director of the CEMS Global Alliance in Management Education Alumni Association. Previously she worked at Thomson Reuters where she managed programs and research bringing together C-level customers and end-users to advise Thomson Reuters on its future direction, strategy, investment priorities and development roadmaps. Before, she worked for Microsoft, the United Nations (UN) World Food Programme in Bolivia, for the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the UN in New York, analysing UN global budget and investments decisions, and as personal-assistant of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands during the 63rd UN General Assembly. Wieteke has a Masters in International Management through the CEMS Global Alliance studying at RSM, Erasmus University and ESADE. She also holds a Masters in Strategic Management and a Bachelors in Business Administration from RSM, Erasmus University. She is currently based in Rotterdam, with her partner and son.
Chief Operating Officer – Varun Mittal
Varun joined the Executive Team in 2012. He received his MBA from National University of Singapore where he was head of Career Services and Technology clubs. He also won the 2012 Student Leadership Award for developing an integrated IT platform providing life long email and knowledge management service to NUS Business School. He spent his MBA exchange semesters at Fuqua School of Business, Duke University and Indian School of Business. He currently Heads Partnership and Marketing at helloPay, Fintech platform of Lazada Group.
Chief Financial Officer – Chris Mulh
Chris is a Director with AlixPartners, LLP, a management consulting firm. He is a member of the High Tech Team and specializes in SG&A cost reduction and Sales & Operations Planning. Prior to working in the consulting industry, Chris was an engineer in both the automotive and energy industries. Chris received his MBA from the University of Illinois and his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. He joined the executive team in 2009 and has been the CFO since 2010. He is currently based in Chicago, Illinois.
VP – Alumni Relations – Nicolai Michelsen
Nicolai is the Executive Assistant to the Global Head of Business Banking at Danske Bank. He graduated from Copenhagen Business School.
VP – Corporate Relations – Lisa Stuart
Lisa graduated with her MBA from Manchester Business School in 2012. She led the MBS Energy club to found it’s first ever energy conference as a partnership with Cambridge University, Judge Business School in the spring of 2011. Her post MBA career goal is focused on opportunities in the energy sector in the UK/Europe. Prior to the MBA, Lisa’s career centered on building growth opportunities in the luxury retail sector including business development and product development roles for esteemed companies including Waterford Wedgwood and Fitz and Floyd. She currently resides in London.
VP – President Network, Cara Weikel
Cara is a Sr. Consultant with First Annapolis Consulting, Inc., a boutique consulting firm specializing in the payments industry. Together with First Annapolis’ Issuing practice area, she is focused on providing strategic consulting and M&A advisory services for payment networks (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.), banks, and merchants related to consumer payment products; Cara is an expert on credit card partnerships involving North American merchants in the retail and T&E sectors. Prior to working in the payments industry, her career included a variety of roles in auto, education, luxury goods, mobile and telecommunications. Cara received her MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, in addition to a Bachelor of Science from Grove City College, located in Grove City, Pennsylvania. She joined the GBF team in 2012 with a focus on developing the network of Graduate Business Conference (GBC) alumni and delivering increasing value for the various stakeholders in the GBF community. Cara resides in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
VP – Leadership Awards, Israel Roman Cortes
Israel is Director of Business Development of Ingenieria & Supervision Integral in Mexico. He received his MBA from Bocconi SDA and Tuck Dartmouth.
VP – Leadership Awards, Rocio Perez Jimenez
Rocio’s first contact with the GBF was in 2009 as a member of the organizing committee for the GBC held in Taipei. In 2011 she attended the Alumni Summit in Barcelona where she decided to join GBF. She then joined the executive team in 2015.
She received her IMBA at the NCCU in Taiwan and she also holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the National University of Asuncion, Paraguay.
Her career has taken her education as a consultant and trainer for SME entrepreneurs, and also management positions with non-profit organizations and in a Jesuit private school business.
Rocio’s current goals include the strengthening of her Chinese language skill, exploring business opportunities in education and volunteering to strive and to advance the ideals of the GBF. She likes to continue growing through cross cultural experiences while traveling and enjoying her life in Madrid where she resides.
VP – Best Practices, Benjamin Stewart
Benjamin is a Sr. Manager with PacWest Consulting Partners, an IHS company. His group focuses on due diligence for M&A activity and growth strategies for clients in the Oil & Gas industry. Prior to working in energy, Benjamin’s career included a variety of roles in government, not-for-profit, insurance, healthcare and advertising. Benjamin received his dual MBA/MPA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and Ford School of Public Policy, in addition to a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Nebraska. He joined the executive team in 2012 with a focus on helping students better understand and develop their leadership skills. He is currently based in Houston, TX.
