The GBF Alumni Team consists of former GBC participants who wish to continuously strengthen the relationships amongst GBC alumni. Major initiatives for the team include the annual Alumni Summit and the Reconnection Project.
Alumni Team Officer – Jörg Kohlbacher
First attending the 2011 GBF Barcelona Conference, Jörg joined the Alumni Team to keep the motivating GBC spirit he experienced in Spain moving. After graduating from the MBA program at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School in Belgium, he returned to Germany and joined Deutsche Bundesbank (German Central Bank) in their Bank Regulation department. Prior to his MBA, Jörg worked as a Credit Analyst for a large German Bank, mainly in Luxembourg but also in Germany, Belgium and Hong Kong; covering large European Multinationals as well as Public Finance and Specialized Lending Deals.
Beyond his professional interests, Jörg is passionate about mountains with their special atmosphere and likes to hike, mountainbike or snowboard. He loves to combine that with travelling around the world to experience new countries and their cultures.
